November 2021, Bloomed Coque, digital collage printed in cotton canvas.
Position: creator/designer.
This piece is a composition that portraits my grandpa surrounded and intervened by the things he used to enjoy the most.
The artwork recollects all of these memories I have of him in a single piece.

This is the creative process of my collage "Bloomed Jorge", in which I portrait my abuelo Jorge (or as we used to call him: "Coque") surrounded and intervened by the things he used to enjoy the most such as our garden and its nature, fútbol, his job as a doctor (you can see some of his patient's medical records), crosswords, reading the newspaper and the Bible. You can also see some of his personal notes such as: "Tomorrow, cook polenta (just for me)" written on his prescription book or a list of his discount cards. His Italian roots also make an appearance, on the holy cards and, even, through the presence of Boca Juniors: one of, if not the most popular soccer team in Argentina which was founded by Genoese people, just like my grandpa was.
